The Frating Pool is located at a residential property — a cream and brown bungalow with “The Frating Pool” and MJ Triathlon” signs hanging from the laurel hedg …moree facing the main road.
🚪 Entering the pool house
The pool house is accessed via the side gate.
Once through the gate, walk down to the back of the garden, where you’ll find the double doors into the pool house.
Please don’t use the patio doors on the side of the house that you pass first — these remain locked.
On entering the pool house please
remove your shoes or apply shoe
covers.
🚗 Parking
If you’re unable to park on the driveway, please park on Mannings Road, off Tokely Road.
After the two bungalows on Mannings Road, there is a cut-through to Bromley Road.
Once you reach Bromley Road, the pool is three properties down on the left. You can easily access it it via the grass path.
If you’re travelling from the Frinton or Clacton direction, this route is actually recommended. It only adds a few minutes and can help you avoid the crossroads and traffic lights, which can become particularly busy after school.
🏊♀️ About the pool
The private pool is lovely and warm, heated to 32–34°C, making it perfect for our little swimmers.
Please note that there are no showers on site. We recommend bringing a cosy onesie and Crocs/sliders to change into afterwards, then heading home for a nice warm shower in your own comfort.
